The Master of Legal Studies in Oil, Gas and Energy draws on OU’s generations of energy industry expertise to provide advanced knowledge of mineral rights and real estate transactions, research methods, and negotiation techniques that can help you gain a competitive advantage.

Advanced Energy Law Education for Landmen

We’ve designed the MLS-OGE with input from major energy employers to enhance the skill sets of non-lawyers who need advanced knowledge of energy law. You’ll take part in small classes of other energy professionals led by energy-industry experienced law faculty. The course content, class exercises, and class discussions all connect to your real-world work as a landman.

A Global Network of OU Energy Professionals

In addition to providing you with knowledge employers need, this program also connects you to OU’s worldwide alumni community of energy industry professionals, including those affiliated with the Price College of Business and the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. The connections you make can impact your entire career.
