Master of Legal Studies (Online Programs)

The Master of Legal Studies (MLS) Program at OU Law extends the school’s longstanding history of excellence and expertise in Indigenous peoples law and energy and natural resources law. This online master’s degree allows students seeking a legal knowledge in energy and natural resources law or indigenous peoples law to gain that knowledge in less time than the three years of full-time study required to earn a Juris Doctor degree.

The MLS in Indigenous Peoples Law program offers a strong foundation in Native American Law for non-lawyers who deal with contracts, negotiations or any other issues that demand knowledge of Native American policy, regulation or business practice.
